As we often used to say when I worked at IBM, It's Better Manually.
Here's a complete list of the questions I asked you during this application process...

1. Tell me about your career path:
2. How did you get where you are today?
3. Where do you see yourself in 2 years?
4. What skills would you like to learn or improve on in the next year?

5. Do you have any comments on Anyware's Vision?
6. Have you been involved with any community projects recently?
7. Rate your "simpleness" from 1 (very simple) to 10 and explain how you have used it to add value in previous roles.

9. How do you keep yourself motivated?
10. Give two examples of the types of problems you like to solve.
11. What areas of personal development do you feel you need to work on to make yourself more successful?

12. Tell me about your computer skills and what software you are familiar with.
Office/Admin/Service Experience
13. What experience do you have in admin, office work and customer service?
Past Success:
14. Tell me about a couple of your recent achievements and how did that add value to the company you worked for.
15. How do you stay organised and complete everything you start?
Why Anyware?:
16. Why do you want to work in this role for Anyware?
17. What makes you perfect for this role?
18. Why do you want to work from home?
19. How did you find this job advert?
Strengths & Weaknesses:
20. If I spoke to some current / more recent managers of yours, what would they say are your strengths and weaknesses?
21. How would you deal with the following 2 situations?
i. An email is sent to me (ie. to Phil, as Anyware's Managing Director) from client x, saying their web site is not updating when they save changes from the Content Manager (web site editor). They have included a detailed error message and description. It looks like something either Phil or our programmer would know how to fix.
ii. Phil asks you to set up a new dual-core dilithium wigdet and document the process. You understand what one of those is but not how to do it. It's not a huge job, but requires input from 2 or 3 people, all of whom are busy and not particularly responsive.
22. What are 3 tasks you do not enjoy doing and how do you deal with them?
23. Describe a failure or hardship you have been through and how the experience helped you to become more successful.
Working From Home:
24. Working from home can be a difficult environment in which to stay focussed on work. Why can you successfully work from home?
25. How and where is your home office set up and how much surrounding noise and distractions are there?
26. What evidence do you have that you are capable of working from home successfully?
Other:
27. Could anything in your life affect your availability for work?
(E.g. other work, dependents, volunteers work, regular or irregular commitments, upcoming event or travel...)
28. Do you have any criminal convictions or pending legal entanglements?
29. Do you have a valid drivers license, and transport to get you to and from work when required?
