Web Site Action Plan

To build a great web site you need a great plan.
And creating a great plan for your web site is fairly straight forward if you know how to do it well. Here's a template and guide you can use.

1. Understand Your Customers

customers First, ensure you understand what a niche market is: Find Your Niche Market to Find Your Best Customers.
Even if you are an expert in niche marketing it can be a good idea to read this article again before you define your niche market because it will help you focus.

Now download the Anyware Web Site Action Plan template (below) and:
A. Identify each unique group of customers you serve. Use a numbered list to identify each group. Never use one paragraph to describe them all or your sales message will be diluted and will not appeal to each of your unique groups.
B. Describe why they use your services. Again, use a numbered list to identify each group.
C. Describe how each group finds you. Again with a numbered list.
D. Identify your best customers and the best ways to find more like them. Again with a numbered list.
E. If the above info does not already do so, identify the benefits that each group seeks. Again with a numbered list.
F. Identify the fears and objections that stop each group from buying from you. You will often recognise these as annoying questions that are asked by people who do not become customers. Guess why many of them did not become customers? You didn't answer their questions to their satisfaction! Again, use a numbered list.
G. Write convincing answers to each question.
Don't skip this step - it's REALLY important!

goals 2. Define Your Goals

We've found that goals are much easier to define after you've done the steps above. Now that you know who your best customers are and which group(s) offer the best opportunities define 1 or 2 goals.
Look at each group of customers and ask yourself which group(s) appeal to you the most. These are probably the customers who are easiest to attract and make you good profit.
